Preparing the Peppers
- Choose Your Peppers: Select firm, medium-sized bell peppers of any color. Cut the tops off and remove the seeds and membranes.
- Blanch the Peppers: Boil a large pot of water and blanch the peppers for 3-5 minutes. This helps soften them for baking.
Cooking the Filling
- Sauté Onion and Garlic: Heat olive oil in a pan and sauté chopped onion and garlic until fragrant.
- Cook Ground Meat: Add ground beef or turkey to the pan and cook until browned. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Stuffing the Peppers

Baking the Stuffed Peppers
- Preheat Oven: Set the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Arrange Peppers: Place the stuffed peppers upright in a baking dish.
- Bake: Cover the dish with foil and bake for 30-35 minutes until the peppers are tender and the filling is heated through.
